Job Summary:
We are seeking a proactive Risk Manager to develop and oversee our comprehensive risk management frameworks. You will identify potential risks across projects, implement mitigation strategies, and ensure that our operations comply with government data regulations and cybersecurity standards. Your role will be critical in maintaining the trust of our clients and partners.

Responsibilities:

  • Governance Frameworks: Develop, implement, and maintain governance frameworks for risk management, security, data privacy, and ethical AI usage.
  • Risk Assessment: Conduct regular risk assessments to identify vulnerabilities and evaluate the impact on projects and business operations.
  • Policy Development: Create and update risk management policies covering data security, business continuity, and regulatory compliance.
  • Risk Mitigation: Implement risk mitigation strategies, including robust cybersecurity protocols, encryption, and anomaly detection systems.
  • Incident Response Plans: Develop and manage incident response plans to contain, mitigate, and recover from security incidents effectively.
  • Vendor Management: Evaluate third-party vendors to ensure they adhere to security and compliance standards.
  • Reporting & Monitoring: Monitor system activity for emerging risks, generate comprehensive risk reports, and recommend corrective measures.
  • Training & Awareness: Provide training to internal teams on risk management protocols and promote a culture of awareness regarding secure data handling practices.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Risk Management, Information Security, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a Risk Manager or in a similar role, preferably in AI or government-focused environments.
  • Strong understanding of cybersecurity, data privacy regulations, and risk management frameworks.
  • Relevant certifications such as CRISC, CISSP, or CISA are a plus.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Familiarity with frameworks like NIST and ISO is beneficial.
