Job Summary:
We are seeking a Compliance Officer to oversee our compliance frameworks and ensure adherence to government regulations and ethical standards. You will be responsible for managing compliance audits, developing policies, and implementing risk management strategies that protect our clients’ sensitive data while maintaining transparency and accountability in all projects.

Responsibilities:

  • Policy Development: Develop, review, and update compliance policies covering data security, privacy, business continuity, and ethical AI usage.
  • Regulatory Monitoring: Stay updated on changing government regulations and ensure all AI platforms comply with sector-specific guidelines.
  • Compliance Audits: Conduct regular compliance audits to identify gaps, and implement strategies that ensure adherence to standards like GDPR, CCPA, and NIST.
  • Risk Assessment: Perform risk assessments across projects to proactively identify and mitigate potential vulnerabilities.
  • Governance Frameworks: Establish robust governance frameworks that ensure responsible AI usage aligned with government regulations and policies.
  • Training & Awareness: Train employees on compliance protocols, data privacy, and ethical AI practices.
  • Client Collaboration: Work with government clients to align compliance frameworks with evolving policy requirements and offer best practice guidance.
  • Reporting: Provide detailed compliance reports to internal and external stakeholders, outlining findings, recommendations, and corrective actions.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Security, Business, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a Compliance Officer or in a similar role, preferably in AI or government-focused environments.
  • Strong understanding of government data regulations (GDPR, CCPA), cybersecurity protocols, and risk management.
  • Relevant certifications such as CISA, CISSP, or CISM are a plus.
  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
  • Familiarity with compliance frameworks like NIST and ISO.
